As well as dealing with client phone calls and appointments, veterinary receptionists usually have numerous other tasks and jobs they need to complete as part of their working day.

Whilst being daunting for new staff, busy days or emergencies can often de-rail the most experienced receptionists. We all forget things sometimes when events take over.

Our auditable job list tool was originally created for a team of 14+ veterinary receptionists operating across two branches in a triple shift pattern to cover extended opening hours.

Our job list tool is designed for re-occurring tasks allowing a Line Manager to create a task once and the platform manages the distribution of the task on an ongoing basis.

  • Each task can have task instructions which its creator can write in a simple word processor style environment. These task details can greatly assist new or inexperienced staff.
  • Auto management of tasks that can span multiple sites or shift patterns.
  • Tasks can be set as daily or to re-occur every specified days.
  • Longer re-occurring tasks (e.g. weekly) are protected against being completed at the start and end of concurrent weeks that would cause longer than acceptable gaps in a task being completed.
  • Tasks can be specified as needing a minimum or maximum number of staff to complete them.
  • Tasks are interactive and automatically update across all relevant receptionists’ screens.
  • Each task has a feedback area for receptionists to provide details if a task cannot be completed.
